Nope, not me. Nor do I like having to watch my babes suffer through fevers, yuckies, colds, or upset stomachs, but I'm hopeful when sickness arises, and is fought off by those little immune systems, they come out of it stronger.
The yucko season is fast approaching, so what are you doing to help keep your family healthy this fall and winter? I'm really working at my own nutrition to help be at my best for my little one I'll be nourishing. I really don't like the thought of keeping her in and hidden because of the nastiness of the world, so I want to be sure I'm doing all I can to give her immune system the boost it needs.
We aren't big on the flu shots, simply because we do believe it does our bodies some good to suffer a little bit, build up that immune system, and be able to ward off a broader spectrum of yuckies they may come in contact with as they grow. That being said, it's worked for us so far, but I know there are plenty who feel otherwise, and that's just fine.
So, what do we do? We of course wash hands, but we do tend to stay away from santizers. Again, we've just figured germs have their place and if we expose ourselves to them, with good hygeine and nutrition, we have a good chance of staying healthy without the use of the vaccines.
I've also found elderberry syrup to be quite the help in us working at staying well. I ran out of it a couple times over the last few years since learning about it, and usually, we are fighting some yucks when we are doing without.
Anyway, this recipe was super easy to make and now we're back in business. Don't be overwhelmed by it, I promise once you gather your supplies, it's super easy! I'm barely functioning these days and I did it, so I'm sure you can pull it off.
